Role of the Conseil du sport de Montréal in helping to organize :
The Council operates in three major areas: regional sports development, top-level sport and sporting events. The Council provides essential support to sporting events, consolidating its position as a key player in the development, promotion and organization of sport in Montreal. To this end, it offers a range of services to facilitate contacts, collaboration and cooperation between event organizers. The Council brings together and mobilizes sports players with a view to increasing cooperation in the organization of events by providing support to organizing committees.
In addition, he exerts an influence in the sports event industry, leading and directing the activities of the Groupe des partenaires des événements sportifs de Montréal (GPESM). The Promotion Support Service provides organizers with effective support in promoting their events in a targeted and successful manner. Operational support
The operational support service, provided by one of our sports agents, is designed to work with organizing committees of major sporting events. The agent provides logistical and operational expertise for the event. This service is currently offered for the summer period only.
