Role of the Montreal Sports Council in assisting with the organization:
The Council operates in three main areas: regional sports development, high-level sports, and sporting events. The Council provides essential support for sporting events, thereby consolidating its position as a key player in the development, promotion, and organization of sport in Montreal. To this end, it offers a range of services to facilitate contact, collaboration, and cooperation between event organizers. The Council brings together and mobilizes sports stakeholders with a view to increasing cooperation in the organization of events by providing support to organizing committees.
In addition, he is influential in the sports events sector, coordinating and directing the activities of the Montreal Sports Events Partners Group (GPESM). This group developed the Montréal Sports Events Strategy, the result of joint discussions among its members: Tourisme Montréal, the Olympic Park, the Société du Parc Jean-Drapeau, the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), the City of Montréal, and the Council.

Event promotion
The promotion support service provides organizers with effective assistance in promoting their events in a targeted and successful manner. Whether through our sports events calendar or our weekly newsletter announcing upcoming events for the week, contact us so we can help you promote your sporting event.
Operational support
The operational support service, provided by one of our sports agents, is designed to collaborate with the organizing committees of major sporting events. The agent offers logistical and operational expertise for the event's implementation. This service is currently offered for the summer period only.
