CREM NETWORK
The Regional Multisport Training Centers (CREM) and INS Québec
Quebec has 8 recognized Regional Multisport Training Centers (CREM) that are recognized.
A CREM is a recognized organization that provides support to identified athletes Development and Elite a high-quality training environment. It provides them with appropriate facilities, specialized coaching, and support services to foster their development toward elite-level competition. CREMs may also be called upon to support athletes identified as Promising or Excellence, depending on regional needs and circumstances. They also offer support and development programs for coaches.
The CREMs work closely with theInstitut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec), which primarily serves athletes identified for Excellence by providing them with specialized services in sports science, sports medicine, and performance.
Together, the CREM network and INS Québec provide a continuum of services to support identified athletes Hope, Rising Stars, Elite, and Excellence throughout Quebec, while supporting the development of coaches and sports organizations.
Athletic Excellence on the Island of Montreal
Excellence sportive Île de Montréal (ESIM)is theRegional Multisport Training Center (CREM)for the Island of Montreal and is part ofthe Montreal Sports Council. ESIM supports athletes, coaches, and other professionals by offering specialized programs and services that foster development toward excellence.

Sports Excellence in the Laurentides–Lanaudière Region
Excellence Sportive Laurentides-Lanaudière is a nonprofit organization dedicated to optimizing and organizing sports coaching in the Laurentides and Lanaudière regions.
Laval Athletic Excellence
Sports Laval was founded in December 2003 following a strategic alliance between the Laval Sports Commission (CSL) and the Laval Regional Student Sports Association (ARSEL).
Mauricie Sports Excellence
Excellence sportive Mauricie (ESM) is a Regional Multisport Training Center (CREM), a nonprofit organization recognized by the Government of Quebec and INS Quebec. ESM relies on numerous regional partners and is part of a network of eight CREMs across Quebec, including Montreal, Montérégie, Quebec City–Lévis, Sherbrooke, Laval, Outaouais, and the Laurentians.
Sports Excellence in Montérégie
Excellence Sportive Montérégie is now an integral part of and a key component in the implementation of the recommended model for the development of high-performance sport, with a focus on supporting the next generation of athletes. The motivation to meet the needs of identified athletes in the Montérégie region is the foundation of its existence. Excellence Sportive Montérégie is managed with the goal of providing services to athletes identified as Elite, Relève, and Espoir, but also with the desire to contribute to coaches and stakeholders who are key players in its region.
Ottawa Sports Excellence
Excellence sportive Outaouais is committed to being a leader in sports development in the Outaouais region by engaging local partners to create environments conducive to the growth of athletes.
Quebec National Sports Institute
Founded in 1997,the Institut national du sport du Québecis a private, nonprofit organization that supports all athletes competing in Olympic or Paralympic sports, as well as elite coaches in Quebec.
By focusing on science, innovation, and technology, the Institut national du sport du Québec embodies “the genius behind performance” by offering cutting-edge solutions driven by experts and partners who share the common goal of enabling athletes training in Quebec to continuously improve so they can excel on the international stage. INS Québec and its network support more than 550 elite athletes—primarily members of Canadian national teams—nearly 2,000 next-generation athletes, and some 900 coaches who work with them. The Institute offers scientific, medical, and professional services.
