The Bleues’ head coach led her team to a third Canadian Championship title with a 5-2 victory over the Concordia University Stingers. Finishing third in the regular season and reaching the Quebec championship final, Leclaire and her team pulled off an upset by defeating the top-seeded team in the quarterfinals before securing a spot in the grand final the following day. COURTNEY SARAULT

Thanks to her four medals at the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, the Montrealer-by-adoption has been named Sports Personality of the Month! Sarault won silver in the women’s 2000-meter mixed relay and 1000-meter race, and bronze in the 500-meter race and the women’s 3000-meter relay. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but raised in New Brunswick, the skater is only the fourth Canadian athlete to have won four medals at a single Olympic Games! She joins Canadiansportslegends such as Penny Oleksiak, Cindy Klassen, and Summer McIntosh. Her achievement is all the more impressive given that Sarault had to deal with serious health issues in the year leading up to the Games. We suggest you follow her at the next World Cup, which will take place inMontrealon March 14 and 15.
