The Gala Podium Montréal, formerly known as the Soirée des Lauréats montréalais, is an event organized by the Conseil du sport de Montréal to recognize and celebrate the players in the sports community on the island of Montreal. This initiative honors athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and organizations from the city's sporting community, among others.

The Gala Podium Montréal is a prestigious and emblematic event in the world of sports, and has been held for over 35 years. Distinguished national and international guests andhundreds of Montreal athletes and sports architects have been honoured over the years.
Podium Montréal Gala objectives
The Gala Podium Montréal aims to recognize the sports community on the Island of Montreal by honouring sports representatives who have distinguished themselves during the period in question; shighlight the performance, commitment, impact and quality of action of the various players in the sports community; stimulate the sport community in its quest for excellence and rndbring the entire sporting communitytogether for a festive evening.
Every year, the Conseil du sport de Montréal is fortunate to be able to count on a jury of sports experts to analyze nearly 150 applications and select the 25 winners of the Gala Podium Montréal. Here is the composition of our 2023 jury.
