LEGS Program

You will be recruiting a large number of volunteers and expending a great deal of energy on your sporting competition. But once the competition is over, what will remain? A fund for development? Equipment? Infrastructure? More skilled coaches and volunteers? Before you even organize your competition, think about the post-competition period and take a long-term view.

The Montreal Sports Council leads a group of partners involved in Montreal sporting events, including Tourisme Montréal, the City of Montreal, the Olympic Park, the RSEQ, and Parc Jean-Drapeau. These partners offer dedicated expertise in attracting and hosting major national and international sporting events on the island of Montreal.
