Laurier Thériault

A physical education teacher who organized after-school sports activities and teams, Laurier quickly transitioned into a role as a manager of nonprofit organizations. He even pursued a master’s degree in the governance and management of nonprofits. On the one hand, he ensures that the board of directors and the committees/working groups of the Conseil du sport de Montréal maintain a long-term vision, and on the other hand, he makes sure that staff handle the day-to-day management of the services offered by the Conseil du sport. Laurier is always available… Except when he’s on his bike or on the ice playing hockey!
