On Sunday, September 22, thousands of runners will take on the legendary 42.2-kilometer course, which crosses the island from one shore to the other, showcasing its most beautiful sights. Get ready for a vibrant experience at the 32nd edition of the Montreal Beneva Marathon.
Runners of all levels are invited to participate in this marathon. Families, recreational runners, and seasoned athletes can choose from distances of 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km.
For the first time, Sunday’s races will start at Espace 67 in Jean-Drapeau Park. Regardless of the distance covered, runners will be rewarded with a finish line worthy of their efforts on the iconic Esplanade of Olympic Park. Held on-site and open to the public free of charge, the Marathon Expo features several exhibitors focused on health and running, as well as guest speakers.
Between these two iconic landmarks, the route takes you across Montreal from one riverbank to the other, through five boroughs.
