The annual recognition event for Montreal's sports community, the Gala Podium is :
- A prestigious and emblematic sporting event
- Over 30 years of sporting history
- Hundreds of Montreal athletes and sports architects recognized over the years
- Distinguished national and international guests
- A must-attend annual sports dinner
The objectives of the Podium Montréal Gala
- To recognize the sports community on the Island of Montreal by honouring sports representatives who have distinguished themselves during the period in question;
- Highlight the performance, commitment, impact and quality of the interventions of the various players in the sports community;
- Stimulate the sporting world in its quest for excellence;
- Bringing together the entire sporting community for a festive evening.
DETAILS OF THE 2022 EDITION:
- Friday, November 4, 6pm to 11pm;
- A cocktail party presented by Événements sportifs Montréal;
- A four-course dinner;
- A DJ for a festive atmosphere;
- A photo zone;
- One drink included;
- The Centre Pierre-Charbonneau as you've never seen it before!
Categories nominated for the Gala Podium Montréal 2022
REMINDER: The eligibility period for achievements and performances is from September 6, 2021 to August 31, 2022.
Following an exhaustive review process involving an advisory committee of experts from the Montreal sports community, the Gala Podium Montréal organizing committee is pleased to present the new categories for the first edition of the Gala Podium Montréal. The objective of this overhaul was not only to respect the objectives of the event, as mentioned on the About page, but also to ensure that the event would be even more unifying and representative of the entire spectrum of sports in Montreal.
