Montreal Runway Gala
The annual awards ceremony honoring Montreal’s sports community, the Gala Podium, is:
  • A prestigious and iconic event in the sports world
  • A sporting history spanning more than 30 years
  • Hundreds of Montreal athletes and sports leaders recognized over the years
  • Distinguished guests from across the country and around the world
  • An annual must-attend dinner with a sports theme

The objectives of the Gala Podium Montréal

  • To recognize the sports community of the Island of Montreal by honoring sports representatives who have distinguished themselves during the period in question;
  • To highlight the achievements, commitment, impact, and quality of the contributions made by various members of the sports community;
  • Encourage the sports community in its pursuit of excellence;
  • Bring the entire sports community together for a festive evening.

DETAILS ABOUT THE 2022 EDITION:

  • Friday, November 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.;
  • A cocktail party presented by Montreal Sports Events;
  • A four-course dinner;
  • A DJ to get the party started;
  • A photo area;
  • One drink included;
  • The Pierre-Charbonneau Center like you’ve never seen it before!

Categories up for nomination at the 2022 Gala Podium Montréal

REMINDER: The eligibility period for achievements and performances runs from September 6, 2021, to August 31, 2022.

Following an extensive review process involving an advisory committee of experts from Montreal’s sports community, the organizing committee of the Gala Podium Montréal is pleased to announce the new categories for the first edition of the Gala Podium Montréal. The goal of this overhaul was to stay true to the event’s mission as outlined on the About page, while also ensuring that the event is even more inclusive and representative of all aspects of sports in Montreal.
