Bringing together the world’s top cliff divers, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will take place for the first time in Canada, in Montreal. This is the sixth of eight stops on the 2024 calendar. Twelve female divers will leap from a 21-meter platform and twelve male divers from a 27-meter platform above the water to perform dives reaching speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour. Canadian athletes are among the competitors: high-diving icon Molly Carlson and her fellow Montrealer Simone Leathead. Known as the world capital of high diving, Montreal offers renowned training programs and centers where some of the world’s greatest names in the sport have trained.
