The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Wednesday that the Montreal Alliance has been awarded the 2024 Championship Weekend (CW24), which will feature two conference finals games on Friday, August 9, followed by the CEBL Championship Finals on Sunday, August 11.
The Alliance, held at the Verdun Auditorium, has been among the league's top attractions since joining the LECB prior to the 2022 season. The club has also put down roots in the Montreal community since its creation in 2021, participating in over 75 community events in the past year alone.
The weekend will feature a lively street festival, a concert program featuring renowned artists, events and minor basketball activities.
