The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced on Wednesday that the Montreal Alliance has been awarded the 2024 Championship Weekend (CW24), which will feature two conference finals on Friday, August 9, followed by the CEBL Championship Final on Sunday, August 11.
The Alliance, which plays at the Verdun Auditorium, has been one of the league’s top attractions since joining the LECB ahead of the 2022 season. The club has also become deeply rooted in the Montreal community since its founding in 2021, participating in more than 75 community events over the past year alone.
The weekend will feature a lively street festival, a concert series showcasing renowned artists, and youth basketball events and activities.
