The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Wednesday that the Montreal Alliance has been awarded the 2024 Championship Weekend (CW24), which will feature two conference finals games on Friday, August 9, followed by the CEBL Championship Game on Sunday, August 11.
The Alliance, which plays at the Verdun Auditorium, has been one of the league's top attractions since joining the LECB prior to the 2022 season. The club has also become deeply rooted in the Montreal community since its inception in 2021, participating in more than 75 community events in the past year alone.
The weekend will feature a lively street festival, a concert program showcasing renowned artists, events, and youth basketball activities.
