The Conseil du sport de Montréal is pleased to welcome Frédérik Laberge to the position of Athlete and Team Services Manager.

Frédérik Laberge was already, in a way, a long-standing collaborator of the Conseil du sport de Montréal, having worked as a kinesiologist and physical trainer in the training room run by Actiforme, a leading partner in the development of Montreal athletes.

Active for many years in the Montreal and Quebec sports scene, Frédérik was coordinator of the Quebec snowboard teams. He has also been the physical trainer for a number of professional athletes, including boxer Kim Clavel.

Known and recognized for his dynamism and understanding of athletes' issues, Frédérik will officially take on the role of coordinator and manager of the Montreal Sports Excellence division on February 6.

"It's a great pleasure to welcome back Frédérik Laberge as head of athlete and team services. He is known to most of our athletes and is used to working especially with this clientele, having already had a replacement mandate with us just two years ago.
He's familiar with the concerns and daily lives of athletes at the emerging and/or elite levels, and Frédérik's integration into our Montreal Sports Excellence division will be that much quicker."
says Laurier Thériault, General Manager of the Conseil du sport de Montréal.

Providing quality support to teams, practitioners and athletes, whether or not they are accompanied by Excellence sportive de Montréal, is an important part of the Conseil du sport's mandate.
The integration of Frédérik Laberge will enable us to pursue this desire to develop and enhance organized sport in Montreal.

The Conseil du sport would also like to pay tribute to the invaluable legacy Caroline Calvé leaves to her successor.
